A Knowledge Synthesis of <scp>Anti‐Black</scp> Racism in Accounting Research†

This structured literature review synthesizes studies that have investigated questions related to anti-Black racism—namely, the discrimination and marginalization of Black people—in accountancy identifies opportunities for future research. study is part a larger research project reviewed 161 articles identified four themes relevant accounting on in general: racism, imperialism postcolonialism, intersectionality, diversity. Based 25 racism reviewed, this paper finds key subthemes: demand services racial practice, racialization professional qualifications, professionals academia, supply-side fallacy.
